I’m a bit late to the party here, but I decided I’d give ESXi ARM Edition a crack this year.

I’ve been using my Raspberry Pi 3 for a few years now. Along the way I’ve used it for all sorts of stuff around the house, as well as customer demo’s. A few notable highlights:

• Using VMware software to monitor air quality
• As an ADS-B reciever and data logger (to VMware vRealize Log Insight Cloud)
• As a humidity and temperature sensor for the house

But with a corrupted SD card the other day, I’ve decided to try something new for 2021.
